How the Predictor Works
The Predictions page estimates how an upcoming Qualifying, Sprint, or Race session may go and explains its reasoning for every rider. It is a model estimate, not a guarantee.
What goes into a prediction
The model blends each rider's season form, recent results, grid-versus-finish movement, consistency, DNF risk, circuit history, lap-by-lap pace, tyre choice, and manufacturer strength. No single signal decides the result; they are weighted together.
Reading the reasoning
Each prediction card shows the signals that pushed a rider up or down instead of only displaying a number. A prediction without an explanation is not very useful.
Play mode: make your own picks
Switch from View predictions to Play to adjust six sliders: season form, recent form, sprint form, grid position, consistency, and tyre choice. The ranking updates as you change the weights.
How your picks get scored
After a session, your locked top three is compared with the real result. You get a point for each rider who finishes in the top three and a bonus for every exact position, up to six points for a perfect call.
The season prediction championship
Qualifying, Sprint, and Race sessions count toward the season championship. Practice and warm-up picks are personal and do not add to the total. Anonymous picks save locally; an account is required for championship leaderboard credit.
How much to trust it
Racing is unpredictable: weather, crashes, and mechanical problems can change everything. The Model Accuracy tab compares predictions with real results so you can judge the model for yourself.
